Babysitting
So sweet! Spent the weekend with Juliette in New Haven, and got some practice with feeding and clothes changing. Surprisingly no poopy diapers while in our care, but a lot of false alarms. We also did a lot of rhythmic bouncing up and down the hallway when our girl got restless. It puts her right out though!
Summer Soirée at work
Today I was really behind on a bunch of work, but we were also having an annual summer work outing/celebration, so I somehow still dropped everything and did that…
Weekend on the Cape
The bachelorette party was excellent! We stayed at an AirBnB in Orleans, and the bridal party did a great job preparing different activities…
Some cooking and baking
Getting ready for the bachelorette weekend in the Cape! I haven’t seen the bride in ages so I’m excited to catch up. Before leaving, I’ve been working on some appetizers for tonight. Including deviled eggs. And sugar cookies. Hopefully we'll get some beach time tomorrow!
Getting some work done
Got a lot of travel coming up, so working on some thumbnail sketches today so I don't lose my place.
Lots of summer plans
The next couple months are going to be pretty crazy. I have everything down in my Google calendar at work, but my head was still starting to spin so I made a calendar to organize everything. The second to last weekend in July, I have a bachelorette party for one of my best friends from high school, who is getting married Labor Day weekend. We'll be in the Cape Friday to Sunday…
Jingle shell mobile
Found these shells at Boca Grande in Florida last September. Used some toy blocks that I had on hand to build a mobile in a similar color scheme to baby Juliette's room. The sound it makes is pretty lovely.
Newborn photoshoot :)
Another baby post!! We took some newborn photos this afternoon! And while Andy was cleaning up back at the house, Kristine and I did a photoshoot in some of the new outfits that some friends had brought over. She's so little that hair bands are way too big for her. But she'll grown into them.

My niece or nephew is due at any moment!
My brother and sister-in-law are expecting their baby to be born today! I’m at their home on Long Island taking care of the dogs and waiting anxiously for news…
Library Retirement
My dad officially retires next week after 34 years at our local public library. There was a gathering of staff and borrowers to celebrate, and I took some shots of the library to document the end of an era.
Summer things
This weekend was pretty fun. To start, Chris woke me up with breakfast in bed, including scrambled eggs, hash browns, veggie sausage, and toast. It was hot out, but after a leisurely morning we decided to walk to Coolidge corner to visit the comic book store and Booksmith…
"Ice cream" cake
My roommate’s girlfriend is a professional baker and she made him this funfetti cake for his birthday…
Summer on the deck
My plants are doing well, and now that it’s consistently warm, a lot of my indoor plants are living outside. Including my small army of baby aloe…
De-installation
Took the Brookline Town Hall exhibit down this afternoon. Thanks for hosting, Town of Brookline!
Trip back home
It's going to be a very busy summer. I'll be back home visiting family for various reasons (mom's birthday, Father's Day, my dad's retirement), my brother and sister-in-law are having their first baby next month so I'm hoping to go down and help them out around the time the baby is due, and we have four weddings between the end of June and Labor Day, plus some functions related to those…
