Sketchbooks

These sketchbooks are part of an ongoing library housing sketches, studies, notes, ticket stubs, song lyrics, lists, dates, price tags, and other items and thoughts, filed away instead of being forgotten. Flipping through observational sketches or unfolding a scrap of paper with a to-do list from years before is like opening a time capsule; even the most insignificant moments and items are infused with preciousness. Some of these albums feature only a few scans, others feature the entire volume.
